The Plan Implementation and Monitoring section of ICAR deals with the implementation and monitoring of ICAR Central Sector Schemes, appraisal and approval of SFC/EFC/Cabinet Notes, preparation of documents for Parliament (Annual Plans, Scrutiny of Demand for Grants, Detailed Demand for Grants, replies to Parliament questions), Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture (PSCA ) - List of Points (LoPs), Reply/further reply to LoPs) , VVIPs (references fromHon’ble President office, PMO, Parliament MPs, NITI Aayog, Central Ministries, etc.) and comments on SFC/EFC/Cabinet notes of other Ministries/Departments; Monitoring of a) announcements of i) Hon’ble PM, ii) budget, iii) Atmanirbhar Bharat and Economic Relief Packages, b) Output Outcome Monitoring Framework (OOMF), c) Technical and financial progress of SCSP, STC and NEH components of ICAR Schemes, d) Progress of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), etc. This Section collects, compiles, edit, process and finalizes the achievements/other relevant information in respect of general and specific questions/queries received from various sources. Scientific and administrative support is extended to Secretary, DARE & Director General, ICAR with respect to finalization of DARE/ ICAR response/reply on important issues and administration.

Scientific and technical inputs received from Subject Matter Divisions, Sections & ICAR HQs are collected, processed, verified, finalized and submitted for approval of Secretary, DARE & DG, ICAR / AS, DARE & Secretary, ICAR, AS & FA, DARE/ICAR prior to transmission to Parliament, DA & FW, DAHD, NITI Aayog, Ministry of Finance (Dept. of Economic Affairs; Dept. of Expenditure), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Ministry of Development of North- Eastern Region (DoNER), Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), Prime Minister’s Office, XV Finance Commission, etc.
