ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru celebrates its 26th Foundation Day

The ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru, Karnataka celebrated its 26th Foundation Day today.
In his address, the Chief Guest, Dr. Rameshwar Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna, Bihar applauded the Institute’s contributions in improving the animal productivity of the country. He also highlighted the farmers’ field-oriented practical problems in ensuring the proper nutritional status of animals.
Dr. Jagadeesh Bayry, Former Director, Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale (INSERM), Paris & Professor, Department of Biological Sciences and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad marked his presence as the Guest of Honor of the occasion. In his Foundation Day Lecture on “Cellular and Antibody Immunotherapy”, he underlined the different approaches of cellular- and antibody-mediated immunotherapy and their applications in the various spheres of biomedical sciences.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Dr. Raghavendra Bhatta, Director, ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru highlighted the important milestones achieved by the Institute.
