Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) visits Ginning Training Centre, ICAR-CIRCOT, Nagpur

Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) & DG (ICAR) was on his visit to the Ginning Training Centre of the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Nagpur, Maharashtra here today.
The Director General was accompanied by Dr. Suresh Kumar Chaudhari, Deputy Director General (Natural Resource Management), ICAR; Dr. C.D. Mayee, Former Chairman, Agricultural Scientists’ Recruitment Board, New Delhi; Dr. B.S. Dwivedi, Director, ICAR-National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning, Nagpur, Maharashtra; Dr. Y.G. Prasad, Director, ICAR-Central Institute for Cotton Research, Nagpur, Maharashtra and Dr. D.K. Ghosh, Director, ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Earlier, Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai welcomed the dignitaries.
The Institute also signed the two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for taking-up the collaborative research work and transfer of the technology during the occasion.
The MoU on collaborative research work for optimization of ICAR-CIRCOT Kawdi Cotton Opener was signed with the Worlds’ largest Gin and Allied Machinery Manufacturer and Exporter - M/s. Bajaj Steel Industries Limited (BSIL), Nagpur.
The ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai signed another MoU with the M/s. Superb Hygienic Disposal India Pvt. Ltd. (SHDIPL), Nagpur for the Technology Transfer, Manufacturing and Marketing Rights of ICAR-CIRCOT Trapezoidal Shaped Rapid Burning Briquette Based Crematorium.
Dr. M.K. Sharma, Director & C.E.O., BSIL, Nagpur; Shri Atul Marotrao Zoting, Partner, SHDIPL and Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai signed the MoUs on the behalf of their respective Organizations.
