The ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, Odisha organized the five-day Training Programme on “Accrual Accounting” from 22nd to 26th November, 2021.
Dr. Dipankar Maiti, Director, ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack emphasized on the importance of human resource development for the administrative personnel to enhance the Institute’s performance.
Dr. G.P. Sharma, Director, Finance, ICAR, New Delhi stressed on the need for the detailed understanding of Accrual Accounting and record keeping by the administrative personnel.
Shri S.K. Pathak, Comptroller, ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh accentuated on involving the younger generation in such training programmes.
Shri V.R. Srinivasan, Comptroller, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi underlined the importance of sharing the knowledge, skills and value system among the administrative personnel to improve the Organization’s efficacy.
The programme was aimed at enhancing the efficiency, competency and enriching the knowledge, skills and developing professionalism among the Finance & Accounts Officers, Administrative Officers and other Officers working in the ICAR Institutes.
A total of 53 participants of 39 ICAR Institutes from 20 States and Union Territories participated in the programme.
