ICAR-NRRI organizes a high end workshop on GC-MSMS

ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack organized a high end workshop on ‘GC-MSMS for quantification of pesticides and profiling of metabolites’ from 22-31 July, 2024. The workshop was sponsored by Accelerate Vigyan Scheme of Science and Engineering Research Board, India.

The Chief Guest for the valedictory session Dr. Bimal Prasanna Mohanty and Dr. M.J. Baig, Director (In charge), ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack, emphasized the importance of utilizing the skills and knowledge gained during the training.

Dr. S.D. Mohapatra, Head, Crop Protection Division and Dr. Kaushik Banerjee, Director, NRC Grapes graced the occasion.
The workshop covered metabolite profiling with contributions from Research Unit Leader for Consumer-driven Grain Quality and Nutrition. The training was further enriched by sessions from the experts.

About 30 students representing 24 institutes from 16 different states participated in the workshop.
