ICAR–NRC on Mithun, Nagaland Organises Kheti Bachao Abhiyaan at Aoyimti Village

ICAR–National Research Centre on Mithun, Medziphema, Nagaland, conducted an awareness programme under Kheti Bachao Abhiyaan (KBA–Rabi 2026) at Aoyimti village, Medziphema. The programme focused on promoting Natural Farming and creating awareness among farmers about its principles and methods, including the use of locally available natural inputs, preparation of bio-inputs, soil health management and sustainable crop production practices.

Farmers were encouraged to adopt eco-friendly farming methods, reduce dependence on chemical inputs and conserve natural resources for long-term agricultural sustainability. The initiative aimed to promote healthy soils, sustainable farming and climate-resilient agriculture among farming communities.
