ICAR-CTCRI, Thiruvananthapuram Inaugurates Vigilance Awareness Week 2026

ICAR–Central Tuber Crops Research Institute, Sreekariyam, Thiruvananthapuram inaugurated Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 on 26 October 2026 to promote integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct.

Smt. Bindu K. P., Councillor, Alathara Ward, Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, addressed the gathering as the chief guest, followed by the presidential address by Dr G. Suja, Director In-charge, ICAR-CTCRI.

Dr G. Suja administered the Integrity Pledge, with the institute’s staff members and students reaffirming their commitment to integrity, transparency and ethical conduct in their professional and public responsibilities.

Following the inaugural ceremony, an elocution competition on the theme “Probity for Prosperity” was organized, witnessing enthusiastic participation from the institute’s staff and students. The competition provided a platform for participants to express their views on the importance of ethical values and integrity in public life.

The observance highlighted the significance of integrity, accountability and ethical values in strengthening good governance and building a transparent and corruption-free society.
