Objectives

• To provide strategic leadership for planning, promotion and quality assurance of agricultural higher education in the country. 

• To advocate policy solutions for organizational reforms and strengthening National Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Systems (NAREES)

• To enhance, institutional capacities for skilled and future-ready human capital, enabling innovation and technological development in agriculture and allied areas

Mandate

• To provide strategic leadership for excellence in agricultural higher education through quality education, innovation, research capacity, human resource development, and institutional transformation, supported by NAARM as the national hub for capacity building and innovation, and NAIP as the centre for policy and planning.
