The Rashtriya Karmayogi Large-Scale Jan Seva Programme ‘From Learning to Action’ a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at strengthening governance, improving service delivery, and fostering leadership in public administration, was successfully conducted at the ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam.

The primary objective of the programme was to transform the work culture from traditional practices to modern, citizen-centric approaches by promoting innovative thinking and enhancing the competencies of government employees under the Karmayogi Mission. The initiative seeks to develop “Rashtriya Karmayogis” dedicated public servants committed to service with Seva-Bhav.
The training was delivered through four structured modules. Participants worked collaboratively in teams, fostering mutual support, collective problem-solving, and exchange of ideas. This approach helped build a comprehensive understanding of the programme themes while strengthening teamwork and organisational cohesion.
The programme concluded with participants reaffirming their commitment to apply the acquired knowledge and skills to improve institutional efficiency and public service delivery.
