ICAR Advances Capacity Building of Directly Recruited Assistants through Module-III Training Programme under Reform Utsav 2026

5 October 2026, New Delhi

As part of its continuing endeavour to strengthen professional capabilities and promote a future-ready administrative workforce, the ICAR has commenced the first batch of Module-III training from 05 October to 16 October 2026 at ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, with 50 newly recruited Assistants.  The inaugural programme was graced by Shri Gyanendra Dev Tripathi, Additional Secretary, DARE & Secretary, ICAR and Dr Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.

The Module-III is designed to provide the participants an opportunity to look at their roles from a broader perspective—moving from a purely procedural approach towards responsive, efficient, transparent and citizen-centric administration.

One of the highlights of the programme was the special lecture on “AI for Smarter Administration” delivered by Shri Gyanendra Dev Tripathi. The session brought into focus the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in public administration.

Organised under Reform Utsav 2026, the initiative reinforces the message that sustainable administrative reform depends on building capable people, simplifying processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
